New Delhi witnessed a 'Thank You Modi ji' rally organised by the BJP in the north Delhi area of Burari. The party commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decisions regarding land mutation in rural villages and for eliminating the need for no objection certificates for power connections in certain parts of the city. Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva characterized these decisions as a "Diwali gift" for residents of villages and unauthorised colonies, highlighting that the resolution of these long-standing issues came after BJP MPs engaged with LG VK Saxena. Sachdeva emphasized the responsiveness of the Narendra Modi government in addressing the concerns of residents by removing the requirement of departmental NOCs for electricity connections in unauthorised colonies and non-conforming areas of Delhi, and reopening property mutations after a two-decade hiatus.

In response, the AAP accused the BJP of attempting to claim credit for the work undertaken by its government and misleading the public. The AAP pointed out that the Delhi government already provides the most affordable electricity nationwide and questioned why none of the 22 BJP-ruled states offer free electricity if they truly care about the people. Sachdeva expressed that due to previous restrictions, elders were unable to pass down properties to their children, but after BJP's intervention, these restrictions on property mutation were lifted. He also mentioned the removal of the requirement for DDA's NOC for electricity connections in unauthorised colonies. Sachdeva asserted that the BJP was working towards securing victory in the upcoming Delhi polls and promised to extend electricity and water subsidies to middle-class households.Prioritizing the implementation of the Prime Minister's housing scheme, Ayushman Bharat, and the regularization of temporary workers such as home guards, bus marshals, and guest teachers would be at the forefront of the agenda. Sachdeva emphasized that under the BJP's leadership, no slums would be demolished without offering alternative housing to residents. Additionally, he noted that the Nirmal Yamuna Plan aims to make the Yamuna pollution-free within a year.
